Pedro Lopes (Berlin) is a turntablist metamorphosed into a percussionist. When playing live he deconstructs his instrument, the turntables, into a vehicle of a rapid, post-scratch and post-jazz, musical dialog of analog intonation and acoustic overtones. In Pedro's music the needles do not merely amplify the vibrations stored in the grooves of the vinyl records. For him, the needles are microscopes that enable us to hear otherwise unheard micro-realities, such as the sound of a fingernail scratching a membrane, a coin revolving as it falls, a brush dragged across a plastic surface. Pedro has been collaborating with artists such as Carlos Zíngaro, Reinhold Friedl, DJ Sniff, Imre Thormann, amongst many others, in a life entangled deeply with his research on interfaces and performance arts. This extra-musical investigations have led him to produce pieces for Transmediale, a Fundação de Serralves, Fylkingen, Ausland, and Goethe Institut.

As a composer, improviser, singer and a sound-artist, Ingibjörg Friðriksdóttir (Iceland), is constantly researching new techniques to improve her ability to explore and experiment with composing and performing music. In her compositions she extends the language of acoustic instruments by using unusual playing techniques and pre-recorded sounds with instrumental compositions. Furthermore Ingibjörg seeks to use her voice in her composition, and expend the vocal sound-source by exploring different vocal techniques.

Paula Morales (1983) investigates the space between the analogue and digital worlds. As a visual artist she is constantly questioning images and their origins. Her work is charged with nostalgic elements as well as modern cliches while exploring space as a subject. She currently finds herself exploring "thingness" and things as an aesthetic expansion of spaces and people through installation pieces. Her works range from editorial portraiture, digital media, video, installation and virtual performance.

Chris Wood is a performance artist, electronic musician, and composer. His works cross and combine the mediums of performance art, music theater, electro-acoustic, performance poetry, and fixed media. He combines physical and emotional endurance with custom analog and digital electronics to create situations of emotional and social renegotiation. His works ask questions like: How do the vibrations of sound effect our social situation? How can empathy be encouraged as common practice within a locality? What effects does internet-based sociallity have on our community thinking? Currently pursuing his MFA in Electronic Music and Recorded Media at Mills College (2017), he is based in Oakland. He has had pieces performed in Oakland, Chicago, Toronto, Berlin, Tashkent, and Graz. In Chicago he co- founded, performs, and curators for Mocrep, a performance collective dedicated to the performance of radical art that engages with contemporary culture - aesthetically, socially, and politically.

Kim Nucci is an Oakland-based multimedia artist/composer and improviser. She plays woodwinds and various homemade circuit and acoustic instruments. She likes making big things and very tiny things. Kim claims to be the Pope of facebook and worships dollar slice pizza as the one true god, while living in the god(pizza)less land of California.
